WEEKLY WRAP-UP is a weekly-based feature post where I share everything from the past week. This feature is also part of weekly memes, The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer and Stacking the Shelves hosted by Marlene @ Reading Reality.

Before anyone asked, yes, this post is supposed to go up yesterday. But I had a few other things to do and before I knew it, I was too tired to even tweak my draft. Also, shall we see how long I will be consistently posting this weekly update?

Monthly Wrap-Up: June 2019

A proper and on-time monthly wrap-up? Who am I? Just kidding, the other aspects of my life are still messy, though. Reading-wise, June was amazing and pretty chill. I think I said this in almost every monthly wrap-up post, but I’m slowly but surely, started to getting out of my reading slump… [Read More]

I hauled four copies of ARC from NetGalley last week. Self-control who? I don’t know her.

In June, I started to get really into fantasy, which is surprising because most of the times I only enjoyed this genre on the screen (I need the visuals!). So, I thought I’d also share a few most-anticipated books that I hauled from NetGalley from the past month!

latest obsession

Um, the newest season of Stranger Things, obviously? Although it was below my expectation, I still really enjoyed it and I truly had a good time! Also, the best thing from the entire season: El & Max friendship!!! Also, how can I forget the iconic dad & son aka Steve & Dustin?!

  1. Lovely wrap up, Vinny! I just finished the third season of Stranger Things as well, and I definitely agree that Max and El’s friendship, and Steve and Dustin’s are the literal best things in the world! Haha! I personally enjoyed the first two seasons more than this one, but it was still a pretty pleasant season nonetheless! I’ll be looking forward to your review of the Chosen and Wicked Fox if you read them! They’re both on my tbr! 🙂

    1. Thank you, Kelly! AND ME TOO! This newest season was incredible and lots of good stuff happening (ElMax, Scoop’s Troops, Alexei + Murray), but the second season was definitely my favorite. I mean… just look at Noah Schnapp’s performance on that season! I’m so pissed that all he got to do this season is just touching his neck (and crying a bit). But yeah, solid season, still!

  2. Stranger Things was SO GOOD! I binged the whole season in a day (self control, who?) and I’m loving Steve’s character. He’s the dad of the group and I am so into it.

    1. HAHAHA, IKR?! I’m rooting for Steve x Robin friendship! They’re so funny together! OH. And also Erica!! Deadass funniest ten years old!
