READING ROUND-UP is a weekly feature on Artsy Draft where I share my weekly reading update. This feature is also a combined submission for WWW Wednesday hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words and Can’t-Wait Wednesday hosted by Tressa @ Wishful Endings.

As you can probably tell, I’ve been revamping a looot of stuff on my blog recently. One of them including features that I want to start doing on my blog on a weekly basis. So, welcome to my first proper reading update!

I’m currently reading…

Little Lovely Things by Maureen Joyce Connolly (18%)
So far, I really enjoyed the multiple point of view narrative and the writing style. The story was easy to follow without making it looks predictable.

Descendant of the Crane by Joan He (10%)
The writing was completely beautiful ever since the first page but unfortunately, I’m not really familiar with this style, so it caught me off guard for a brief moment. It’s too early to judge the story. However, just from these earlier chapters, the characters had a strong first impression and personality already, so I appreciated that for now!

Recently, I finished…

Radio Silence by Alice Oseman (★½)
Holy shit. I LOVE THIS. It’s the perfect fandom/geeking-out story and I STAN. The storyline, the diverse characters, the representations, the casual and fun dialogues, the concept of Universe City, I love it.

The Ultimate History of the ’80s Teen Movie by James King (★★★½)
I’m not completely disappointed with this book, but I’m not happy either. It’s just not what I expected in the first place. It feels like I’m reading a textbook with too much explanation on every section and it really sucks out the fun aspect.

Next, I’m going to read… And I can’t wait for…

Call Me Evie by J.P. Pomare
I started this book in early March but I got caught up because I read too many books at a time and now I’m forgetting all the details from the chapters that I’ve read before. Raise your hand if this is your daily struggle too.

The Binding by Bridget Collins
My guts tell me that it’s going to be an awesome book and I CAN’T WAIT TO READ THIS BEAUTY.

What about you? How’s your reading this week?
