WWW Wednesday #2

Memes WWW Wednesdays

Second WWW Wednesday post is here! It has been a pretty tough week for me, but I really want to keep my consistency on my blogging game! Anyway, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer three simple questions (“The three Ws”):

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you just finish reading?
  • What are you planning on reading next?

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading And Then You Were Gone by R.J. Jacobs. This is the second ARC that I received from NetGalley in exchange of honest review. I’m currently at page 20-ish, but I feel the ending of this book will be quite predictable? I really wish my prediction is not true, but these first few pages really alarmed me about the possibilities. I’m not good at predicting stuff, so I hope this book has more surprise and twist at the end.  We’ll see!

What did you just finish reading?

I just finished reading Friction in Motion by Sy Kadella. This is my first ARC that I received from NetGalley, so I was pretty pumped. At the beginning, the pace felt a bit too slow for my liking, but it was so steady that I started to enjoy it and just goes with the flow. It was such a nice and calming read, well, despite of its big theme about a dysfunctional family. You can read my full review about this book here.

What are you planning on reading next?

My upcoming read is Sunscorched by Jen Crane. I was selected as one of the host for the blog tour that organized by YA Bound Book Tour and I received an ARC in exchange of honest review. I’m a big fan of apocalypse and post-apocalypse movie, so I’m really excited to be able read this one! And not gonna lie, I’m living for a pretty book cover! This cover looks like it’s ready to be adapted into a movie, am I right?!
