Welcome to the Blogtober series! It’s my first time to join this exciting event since it’s also my first year after deciding to blogging again. For this year, I decided to do a whole month of challenge which created by Lucy @ Lucy Goes to Hollywood. I found out about this challenge on her Twitter#LGTHOctoberChallenge is a horror movie challenge that created by Lucy @ Lucy Goes to Hollywood that runs for the entire October. The prompt for Day 27 is favorite zombie film. Here’s mine!

Ahhh, you have no idea how long I’ve waited for this prompt! I’m a big fan of zombie movies, so there’s no way I’d only mention one movie in particular! I might have no idea what I’m going to do in a span of six months or a year with my life, but I definitely already prepare myself for zombie apocalypse possibility. You never know! So, here’s a list of my favorite zombie movies in ranked order! Note: Every movie mentioned is highly recommended!

1.Train to Busan (2016)

Okay, I’m not being bias or subjective here for this first pick. It’s the only Asian movie in the list but it also deserve the first place! God, I love this movie so freaking much. It has a right balance of suspense, horror and drama. I’ll forever cry my eyes out no matter how many times I’ve watched this movie already.

2.World War Z (2013)

I’m really looking forward for the sequel of this movie! The first movie was very promising and I love the fact that there’s some scientific explanation (and solution) for the zombie issue! That’s how you make a movie! And that zombie mountain climbing scene will always be iconic!

3.Zombieland (2009)

Horror-comedy can be a tricky one and most that I’ve watched are too cringey rather than entertaining. But this one is not of them! I love the performance of every single casts, but c’mon, Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson are an iconic duo and has an amazing chemistry in this movie!

4.28 Days Later (2002)

Probably one of the zombie movies with the best action packs in it!

5.The Girl with All the Gifts (2016)

Another logical and science-based zombie movies! This genre is one of my favorite because there’s endless possibilities and theories of how the apocalypse happened in the first place! This movie is one that served an unique and original idea, not only for the cause of the apocalypse, but also how the non-zombie (*cough* the human) handling the problem.

If you want to join the challenge, here‘s the prompt that Lucy made for the whole month of October.
