October Horror Challenge #16: Best Soundtrack

Blogtober

Welcome to the Blogtober series! It’s my first time to join this exciting event since it’s also my first year after deciding to blogging again. For this year, I decided to do a whole month of challenge which created by Lucy @ Lucy Goes to Hollywood. I found out about this challenge on her Twitter#LGTHOctoberChallenge is a horror movie challenge that created by Lucy @ Lucy Goes to Hollywood that runs for the entire October. The prompt for Day 16 is best soundtrack. Here’s mine!

Aside from The Shining (1980), which obviously has one of the greatest soundtrack in horror cinematic history, I think my other favorite is A Clockwork Orange (1971). I’m not sure if this movie considered as a horror (crime, dystopian fiction or thriller are perhaps more suitable), but it’s scary enough for me. There are too many iconic and aesthetically pleasing scenes in this movie! Despite it’s not something that I want to re-watch (it’s too much to handle), the pretty scenes along with its soundtracks are definitely what makes this movie unforgettable. And does anyone notice Evan Peters resemblance on young Malcolm McDowell?!

If you want to join the challenge, here‘s the prompt that Lucy made for the whole month of October.

What about you? What is your pick and why?
