October Horror Challenge #1: Favorite Film

Blogtober

This is actually a last minute decision to join Blogtober and I’m surprised I found myself to write this post right now. I was thinking that there’s no way I could join Blogtober without driving myself crazy with pressure! But today, as in the first day of October, I found out about this movie challenge (#LGTHOctoberChallenge) which created by Lucy @ Lucy Goes to Hollywood on Twitter and I couldn’t be more excited! A regular post might be a trouble, but a quick post about movies? That I actually enjoyed? Regarding genre that I started to fall in love with (fun fact, I used to hate it)? Yes, please!

For Day 1, the prompt is about favorite film. I feel like I really need to watch more horror in order to have a more creative answer for this one. I have quite a few favorite, but if I really have to pick one, it’s going to be A Quiet Place (2018). It’s one of the most recent horror that I watched this year and the excitement that I have for this movie is still unbelievable. I usually found a certain aspect that I don’t like in a movie, even when I gave that movie a 5-stars rating. But A Quiet Place is just way too perfect and it’s really hard for me to find any flaw in this movie. The plot was amazing, the chemistry between the characters are undoubtedly strong and there are good amount of jump scares that actually scary! Hands down.

If you want to join the challenge, here‘s the prompt that Lucy made for the whole month of October.

What about you? What is your most favorite horror movie and why?
